Want to get outside? Here are some things to do this weekend for Myrtle Beachers

With the weather expected to be clear and sunny this weekend in Myrtle Beach, you’re probably looking for something to get you out of the house.

Here are some things to do this weekend:

1. ART IN THE PARK

Waccamaw Arts and Crafts Guild is holding its 50th year of Art in the Park this Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 1120 Farrow Parkway in Myrtle Beach.

“We will have over 50 artists from the East Coast and as far away as Tennessee with about 15 of those artists from our local area. Typical art will include Paintings, Woodworking, Photography, Jewelry, Fabric, Glass, Metal, Pottery and Stone. No admission charge. Child and Pet Friendly,” according to visitmyrtlebeach.com.

2. EARTH DAY CELEBRATION

Brookgreen Gardens invites nature lovers to its Earth Day Celebration on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1931 Brookgreen Drive in Murrells Inlet.

According to its website, participants can “[m]eet us at the Wall Lowcountry Center for a day filled with fun and educational stations for all ages. Adults will learn more about native plants and conservation, while children explore S.T.E.A.M. stations to complete their Earth Day passports. Meet some of our native animal ambassadors, learn through a horticulture demonstration, and enjoy a day of music and fun! Included with Garden admission.”

3. JAZZ IN THE PARK

Grand Park at Market Common is welcoming jazz lovers to come enjoy some live music from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at 1011 Crabtree Lane in Myrtle Beach.

“Bring a lawn chair and enjoy live jazz entertainment in the park in celebration of Myrtle Beach and Jazz Appreciation Month,” visitmyrtlebeach.com said.

This event is free to attend.
